Acupuncture

Extremely thin, sterile needles are inserted into a few strategically selected points on the body, called acupuncture points. The needles act as instruments that unblock and direct Qi energy flow in the meridians (energy channels) and help the body to get back into balance. There are over 365 acupuncture points on the human body, and each of them is unique!

Electro-Acupuncture

Electro-acupuncture is a therapy which combines needling and electrical stimulation by sending a small amount of electric current to the needle after it has been inserted and Qi sensation has been obtained. Electro-acupuncture provides stronger stimulation than regular acupuncture. It is specially recommended for pain syndromes and paralysis

Tui Na

Tui Na, meaning "push and hold," is an ancient Chinese form of therapeutic deep-tissue bodywork. It brings stimulation to the muscles and circulation, and targets the body's energy meridians.  It allows blocked energy to flow.  It is based on ancient Chinese medical principles, which teach health as a balance between Yin and Yang, and an unblocked flow of Qi energy.

Cupping

Cupping relieves muscle pain (especially back pain from stiffness or injury), and clears chest congestion, which occur with common colds and influenza. It is a technique in which a glass cup is suctioned onto the body and allowed to sit for about 5 to 10 minutes. Cupping stimulates the flow of blood, lymph, and Qi energy to the affected area, relieves swelling, and greatly enhances an acupuncture or electro-acupuncture treatment.

Chinese Herbal Therapy

Chinese herbal medicine is regularly used in conjunction with acupuncture as a safe and effective means of healing the body and mind. The herbal formulas are prepared mostly from plant leaves, stalks, roots, flowers, seeds or vegetables. Traditionally, herbal preparation is in the form of tea decoction. Nowadays, the common convenient and effective herbal products are highly concentrated granules in powders, capsules or pills. One of the most appealing qualities of Chinese herbal therapy is the low risk of adverse side effects, especially when compared to pharmaceutical drugs.

Heat Therapy

The use of unique electro-magnetic ultra violet heat treatments are often used with Acupuncture. This increases circulation of energy and blood and is especially useful for pain disorders.
