Acumed Medical Care PLLC, directed by Dr. Kim Tsao was founded in New York in 1986 and has treated more than 11,000 patients through sensitive, non-invasive therapies, including Acupuncture, Tuina-therapy and Chinese herbal therapy.

We specialize in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Our primary goal is to quickly ameliorate the patient through sensitive, non-invasive therapies. Chinese medicine offers many different kinds of therapies, which are determined through analysis of the unique restorative and recuperative powers within the patient’s body. 
 
Whether you visit us in illness or in health, our trained professional staff offers evaluation and diagnosis in accordance with TCM philosophy and principles. We examine each patient's constitution to determine their overall state of health and identify disharmonies within the body.

 
For patients who want to begin a program of preventive care, we offer healthcare services that place emphasis on maintaining balance and preventing disease. When there are signs of illness, the Acupuncturist will diagnose to correct the basic disharmony.
 
Acumed Medical Care LLC utilizes different treatment therapies according to patients’ different conditions and body constitutions.
